In the afternoon of April 25th, on the occasion of World Book Day, in this day when books and flowers meet, the library of the School of Business Administration (SBA) and the women's activities of the branch union was successfully held in Room 506, North of Wenquan Building, Nanhu Campus. This activity invited Mr. Luo Hong, a senior art expert, and Mr. Song Wei, manager of China Machine Press (CMP), as the guests. More than 50 teachers of SBA participated in the book exhibition activity, and more than 30 female teachers participated in the women's work activity.
Zhu Yanping, Deputy Secretary of SBA, delivered a speech, in which she warmly welcomed the two special guests and pointed out that this activity could not only enhance teachers' handcraft creation ability and cultivate their sentiment, but also appreciate the series of new books on display, which was an artistic feast for the eyes and the mind. Mr. Song Wei, the manager of CMP, made a brief introduction of the new books on display and registered the books for the teachers to apply for. Then, Ms. Luo Hong conducted a live teaching of clay floriculture. She shared with the teachers the characteristics and applications of clay floriculture, briefly introduced the steps of making simulated flowers, and then led them to start the artistic journey of clay floriculture.
Ms. Luo Hong prepared three kinds of acrylic paints symbolizing the colors of spring for each teacher. According to their own preferences, the teachers used brushes to paint the background of the wooden box book cover and drew a layered base color. Two hours later, the book box floral arrangement was basically completed, and the site was full of praises. Teachers, under the joy of praising each other, took photos to record the happy moments.
In the midst of laughter, female teachers shared their experiences with each other and inspired each other to grow. They demonstrated the wisdom and strength of women, and showed the diverse talents and charms of female teachers in the book fair activities.
