On April 21st-22nd, the final round of the Fourth National Teaching Innovation Competition for School Teachers in Hubei Province was held in Huazhong Agricultural University. Prof. Liu Fan (team) and Ms. Lu Qing (team) of the School of Business Administration (SBA) participated in the competition of the New Liberal Arts Full Senior Group and the Intermediate Group of Basic Courses respectively, and won the Third Prize of the Provincial Level of the New Liberal Arts Full Senior Group and the Second Prize of the Provincial Level of the Intermediate Group of the Basic Courses respectively.
These achievements are not only a recognition of the individual efforts of the participating teachers, but also a remarkable reflection of the collaboration and support of our teaching team. Since its launch, this Teaching Innovation Competition has been highly valued by the university's Academic Affairs Department and SBA’ leaders. Vice Dean Hu Chuan of SBA, who is responsible for undergraduate teaching, made a comprehensive deployment and detailed guidance for the organization and preparation of the competition. In addition to the efforts of the participating teams themselves, the full-time teachers and administrative teachers of the faculty have provided important assistance.
Curriculum is the core element of talent cultivation, and teachers are the decisive force in talent cultivation. Based on this concept, SBA has been committed to cultivating an excellent teaching team and improving the teaching level. This competition not only shows the academic strength and innovation ability of SBA’ teachers, but also provides valuable experience and reference for SBA's teaching reform. It is believed that with continuous efforts, more excellent teachers will emerge in the future and make greater contributions to the education of SBA.
