In the afternoon of January 11th, the second meeting of the Fifth Faculty and Staff Congress and Trade Union Members' Congress of the School of Business Administration (SBA) was held in the Lecture Hall of Wenquan Building. Representatives of the fifth faculty congress and trade union of SBA and all trade union members attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Nijiati Aimaiti, chairman of the branch labor union of SBA.
Prof. Wu Haitao, Dean of SBA, made a report on 2023 Annual Work Report of SBA, Financial Work Report and Explanation of Performance Allocation Program. Dean Wu Haitao summarized the achievements of SBA in the past year in writing a chapter of high-quality development in eight aspects, including faculty injecting new vitality, scientific research adding new colors, teaching and research scaling new heights and so on. He also gave a detailed explanation of the financial situation and performance allocation of SBA.
Prof. Xiong Shengxu, Director of the Academic Council, made a report on the work of the Academic Council and Labor Union in 2023. He proposed that 2023 is a year for SBA to continue to move forward and make innovations, and at the same time, he also introduced the ideas and focuses of the work of the Senate and the labor union in 2024.
All the delegates listened to and passed the Annual Work Report of SBA in 2023, the Financial Work Report, the Explanation of Performance Allocation Program, and the Report on the Work of the Faculty Council and Labor Union of SBA in 2023.
Secretary Yu Xiaopeng pointed out that 2023 is a year of continuity and innovation, and all the faculty and staff of SBA teachers and students, alumni are concentrating their efforts on hard work and diligence, and creating a new pattern of development, and we are working together to create and share with one heart and one mind, in order to realize the vision of based on the Central and South China, facing the world, and to become a first-class business school of economics, management and law integration.
