In the afternoon of 14th December, the2nd Responsible Management Course Competition of the School of Business Administration (SBA) were held in Conference Room 506 of Wenquan North.
Wu Haitao, Dean of SBA, and Yu Xiaopeng, Secretary of the Party Committee, were present. Members of the Undergraduate Teaching Steering Committee, Vice Dean Hu Chuan, Zheng Jiaxi, Shi Junwei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Li Fang, Huang Hanmin, Li Wei, Du Peng, Deng Yuanjian, Ying Bin, Yao Shengbao, Wan Hua and other professors, as well as Mr. Yan Wencheng, the winner of the first prize of the Ninth University Youth Teaching Competition, served as professional judges.Twenty one teachers and twenty one student representatives from seven departments constituted the Teaching Observation Mission for on-site grading.
On behalf ofSBA, Dean Wu Haitao delivered a speech that young teachers must grasp the characteristics of the new business education and the law of the growth of students in business schools, improve their teaching ability, and comprehensively promote the construction of Responsible Management Course.
The ten participating teachers went up to the stage to compete according to the order of drawing lots. After a fierce competition, Mr. Liu Wentong won the first prize, Mr. Yu Sheng and Ms. Zhou Lili won the second prize, Mr. Guo Maiju, Mr. Shi Zhanwen and Mr. Jiang Ping won the third prize, and Ms. Ye Jinzhen, Ms. Feng Jiaojiao, Ms. Zhang Ting and Ms. He Joyu won the excellence prize, and the leaders and judges of the hospital awarded them respectively.
After the teaching demonstration, Vice Dean Hu Chuan, Prof. Li Wei and Prof. Du Peng, as experts, commented on the participants in turn from the style and unlimited potential of the new generation of young teachers, case presentations, and exploring high-quality teaching methods.
Finally, Party Secretary Yu Xiaopeng summarized the competition. He pointed out that the young teachers in this competition should practice their own solid basic skills and work together to improve the effectiveness of the school's new business courses in educating people.
