In order to promote the high-quality development of Hubei's agriculture and rural areas, the Fourth Summit Forum on Rural Revitalization Strategy in Hubei Province, which was hosted by the Rural Revitalization Research Center of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL) and co-sponsored by the Rural Revitalization Alumni of ZUEL, was held in ZUEL, from November 17th to 18th, 2023.
Focusing on the theme of Rural Revitalization Policies and Practices, the Summit Forum held two thematic report sessions: one is Rural Revitalization Theory Reflection, and the other is Rural Revitalization Policies and Practices. More than 200 guests and students from more than 30 institutions in the academic, political and business fields were invited to conduct in-depth discussions and exchanges on the theory and practice of rural revitalization strategy.
At 8:30 a.m. on November 18th, the Summit Forum was officially opened. Prof. Liu Renshan, Vice President of ZUEL, warmly welcomed all the delegates on behalf of the university. In the keynote report session, Prof. Wu Haitao, Dean of the School of Business Administration (SBA) of ZUEL, and others made keynote speeches, introducing the latest academic research results as well as some policies and practices in rural revitalization strategy in Hubei Province. After that, the forum session consisted of two themes: Rural Revitalization Theory and Reflection and Rural Revitalization Policies and Practices.
In the afternoon of November 18th, in the sub-forum for young and middle-aged scholars on rural revitalization, experts and scholars from different universities and many research institutes introduced their latest academic research results. In the subsequent Rural Revitalization Entrepreneurs and Alumni Forum, six entrepreneurs and alumni introduced the specific work and practical experience of their respective institutions and enterprises in helping the rural revitalization strategy, and exchanged in-depth experience with the experts, teachers and students at the scene in front-line practice.
Finally, Yu Xiaopeng, Secretary of the Party Committee of SBA, made a concluding speech on behalf of the organizer of the conference, and expressed his sincere thanks to all the delegates attending the conference.
