At 2:00 pm on September 15th this year, SBA held the Meeting to Share Experience on Professional Integrity and Conduct and the Meeting of Faculty in the New Semester was held in the Lecture Hall of Wenquan Building with the participation of all faculties. The meeting was chaired by Wang Hualu, head of the school’s Communist Party committee.
First of all, all faculties watched and studied the special film Xi Jinping's Love for Teachers.Since the Party’s 18th National Congress, the General Secretary has repeatedly expressed sincere and heart-warming wishes and expectations to teachers in various forms. All faculties of SBA felt the General Secretary’s sincere care and deep feeling for teachers in the hall.
Secondly, Dean of SBA, Qian Xuefeng, made a report on the work of the new semester from three aspects, including the summary and achievements of the last semester, the current problems, and key promotion work in the next step.
Dean Qian praised the school’s achievements in eight aspects including Party building, annual assessment, international accreditation, talent training, scientific research, faculty introduction, student work, and social services. He objectively analyzed the main problems and shortcomings of the school. Besides, the dean proposed that the school should focus on the following tasks in the next step while promoting strategic work: building a new system for training business personnel that can adapt to the changes of the times and strengthening organized scientific research.
Thirdly, three teachers, including Nijiati·Aimaiti, Mao Haitao, and Lu Qing, shared their experiences on professional integrity and conduct with all the faculties of the school.Mr. Nijiati·Aimaiti, the counselor of SBA and the host of Mei Mei Xiaonan National Unity Education Studio, won the 13th “Counselor in Colleges and Universities of the Year” in 2021. He shared his growing experience with SBA in the five years since he started to work and expressed his thanks to the school.Associate Professor Mao Haitao told the story about his assistance for Xinjiang with the title “Serve in Places Where the Country Needs You the Most”. During his period of assistance, Associate Professor Mao won the honorary titles of “Excellent Teacher for Assistance”, “Excellent Faculty”, “Excellent Communist Party Member” and “Excellent Supervisor for Graduation Thesis”. Mao Haitao has experienced several touching moments while paying remorselessly in assisting for Xinjiang. He finally expressed his expectation that more resources would be allocated to colleges and universities in the western region and that teachers will give more care to students. He shared the form and content of the National Teaching Competition of Youth Teachers with the teachers and introduced the process of his participation. Finally, Mr.Lu shared his feelings with the words “sunshine, soil, rain, and foundation”. To be more specific, the strong education school SBA was the foundation and soil, experts and teachers of the Department of the Human Resources Management are sunshine and rain, and all these made him thrive.
Finally, Secretary Wang Hualu pointed out that the three teachers who shared their experiences were the youngest and most representative teachers in the school's Meeting to Share Experience on Professional Integrity and Conduct during the past years. They have made extraordinary commitments in ordinary positions. Secretary Wang called upon the whole faculties to learn from the three models and develop a work style of being responsible and practical. At this point, the meeting was successfully concluded.
