Students of the SBA Made Good Performance in the China Regional Selection Competition of the 2020 Global Brand Planning Competition

From October 31 to November 1, 2020, the Global Chinese Marketing Federation (GCMF), CCOIC Commercial Chamber of Commerce, CCPIT Commercial Sub-Council, Commercial Culture Association of China, Licensing Executives Society of China, Kunming Municipal Bureau of Commerce and China Trade News Agency successfully co-hosted the China Regional Selection Competition of the 2020 Global Brand Planning Competition in Yunan Conference Hall of Kunming, Yunnan Province. In the two-day fierce competition, the student team under the guidance of faculty Sun Hongqing from the New Media Marketing Research Center of our university won the second prize of the China Regional Selection Competition and the Best Creative Brand Display Award.


Nearly 100 enterprise representatives from 24 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions as well as 209 teams from 110 colleges and universities participated in the China Regional Selection Competition of the 2020 Global Brand Planning Competition. All teams should carry out brand planning with authentic brands. In 2020, the pandemic has postponed the date of competition again and again. The Authentic Brand Planning Studio set up by senior students such as Lin Shengjia of our School still insisted on participating in the competition. Their brilliant and deliberate performance has been unanimously recognized by the judges and guests, showing the good mental outlook, solid theoretical foundation and strong practical ability of the students in the School of Business Administration of our University.


It is one of the teaching links of brand management course in our national first-class marketing programme to participate in the national competition of marketing programme carrying with the real enterprise project achievements that match with the course. The New Media Marketing Research Center of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law is committed to providing students with real exercises in business scenarios outside the classroom through the combination of production, teaching and research, promoting students to effectively absorb and understand classroom knowledge and put it into practice through participating in competitions, and creating a multi-channel growth path for students and a space for improving their ability of practical innovation.
